# Terms of use · RootSwap

> The rules for using RootSwap: your account, listings, deals between members, and what isn’t allowed.

RootSwap helps neighbours sell, swap and give away plants. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

## Who we are

- RootSwap is run by ENTELXCORE SINGLE MEMBER P.C. (ENTELXCORE ΜΟΝΟΠΡΟΣΩΠΗ Ι.Κ.Ε.), a company registered in Greece (“we”).

## Your account

- You need to be at least 18 to create an account.
- Use a name that’s yours, never someone else’s, and keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
- Business accounts must give accurate business details and follow the consumer rules that apply to them.

## Listings

- List only plants, cuttings, seeds, pots and gardening items that are yours to sell, swap or give away.
- Describe them honestly, use your own photos, and update the listing when a plant is reserved or gone.
- Don’t list protected or invasive species, plants taken from the wild, or anything that’s illegal to sell or move. Follow the plant health rules where you live.

## What isn’t allowed

- We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive members: no harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, scams, spam or impersonation, in listings, photos or messages.
- Don’t use RootSwap to sell anything other than plants and gardening items, to collect other members’ details, or to advertise.
- Don’t try to break, overload or get around the app’s security.

## Deals and meetups

- Sales, swaps and gifts are agreed between members. RootSwap isn’t part of the deal and doesn’t handle payments, so check the plant before you pay or swap.
- Meet in a public place, keep your conversations in the app, and never share passwords or payment details in chat.

## Reports and moderation

- Report a listing, member or conversation, or block a member, straight from the app. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content or accounts that break these terms.
- When we remove your content or suspend your account, we tell you why, unless the law doesn’t allow it.

## Your content

You keep the rights to the photos and text you post. You let RootSwap show them in the app and on the web while they’re published, so other members can find your plants.

## Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. We then delete your profile, listings, photos and the messages you sent. Reports stay with us for moderation.

## Changes and contact

- RootSwap is provided as it is, and we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer law.
- If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app before the change applies.
